Ive gone to mobile9.com and mobile17.com and cant seem to download anything through my mobile web. 403 forbidden will show up with some websites. Mobile 9 requires something called WAP, I understand that this cricket phone along with the unlimited web browsing is WAP enabled. Mobile 17 senRAB pictures to my gmail account and I can view the pics through gmail on my phone, but cannot download the attachments....Any kind of solutions to this??

WAP is currently restricted to Cricket's portal. Expect this to change in the not to distant future. Cricket has recently set up a deal with Valista(i think) for payments for off-deck content.

try calling the service provider. they should tell you everything you need to know. my internet wasn't working but they fixed that problem. just give it a shot.

Called Cricket, told the rep I was unable to download any content using the mobile web. Had her confirm that I indeed have mobile web, I do....Im am able to access the web using my nokia. Anywho, she had me turn my phone off and wait 10 seconRAB, then power it back on and hit *228 to update the software. That was a success however the problem persists. Calling Cricket seems to be a waste of time, all of the reps I spoke to didnt know what the hell they were talking about. So its confirmed that powering off my phone and refreshing the software seems to be worthless. Yet I still see people sending pictures to the exact same phone that I have using some of these free websites. Any other possible solutions???
