Download MP3

Hey i am thinking of downloading this programe but i got a question

"It says i can download mp3's on my mac and use it on itunes for free" well if i download mp3's will i get cought by the racc or watever it's called? cause i do know some mp3 sites are illgule and i dont want to be caught downloading files of gnutella!
 
So its not that great to download mp3's off any network (but what if i am not sharing it?)

Sorry new to downloading mp3's.....I can always get music off the internet in real or windows media format
 
In a near future it will perhaps not be possible to download and copy MP3 for free. The company that owns the MP3 concept is going to put in the so called DRM (Digital Rights Management) for MP3. So MP3 will be very restricted for us who are the consumers.

I think it is better to use OGG Vorbis .

Ogg vorbis files have a better quality of sound compared with MP3. And no restrictions will be put in for OGG Vorbis, so OGG Vorbis is more safe and have a brighter future.
