Downgrading iPhone 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 CONS?

What may be some negative effects of downgrading an iPhone firmware 3.1.3 to a 3.1.2. I have been told that by doing so it can lead to troubles in the future such as the iPhone losing its unlocking and jailbreaking. I just wanted to confirm this and whether it would be a wise decision to downgrade. Thanks.

mine never had any problems, the only con is that it's annoying when it asks if you want to upgrade but thats it.

downgrading to 3.1.2 will not do you any good. the modem firmware is still the same so you wont be able to unlock it. now that you are at 3.1.3 your stuck there untill they come out with a patch.
