Double flash/Preflash on Samsung L60?

Is there a way to change the settings on a Samsung Digimax L60 so there is only a single flash? I love this camera but it's so slow to take pictures, and I end up missing a lot of good spontaneous shots because of the double flash...
 
Turn off the anti-redeye feature .. some times called redeye reduction.

Sometimes if you are shooting in an area too dark for the camera to auto-focus the first flash is to assist that process and there is nothing you can do about that. No one likes out of focus shots.
