dose anyone no the title or author of this book ?

i have been trying to rememebr this book for years need help with it
well its a bout this girl who somehow gets left on this island and has to make a hut to live in and there is this wolf that gets hurt and becomes her pet( she may be native ) not sure.
her dad may have been a pirate and she was accenedlty left there !
 
oh ive read that book! my class read it this year! ok let me think...i think its called island of the blue dolphins or something close to that
