Dos any one know where i can find how to php script?

I've been a webdesigner for about 8 months now and have come along way i know html and css better then i can speak and i have JavaScript pretty much down and i noticed most people when they want me to do a website they ask for php and i have no idea what that is all i know is that its a open source server side programming and i would like to learn it but cant find a good teaching web site or book can some one help me?
 
hi am also a web programer for some months now, i can direct you to www.phpfreaks.com, i have loads of php e-books, cant get tired of reading ehh lol.... any way php is coming up way too fast and its being appreciated... check that site out and u can also mail me at [email protected] we could be pals and work together who knows lol
