For example, my daughter who is 3 1/2 is obsessed with Princess stuff, ALL the way 
My 19 month old son is OBSESSED with cars and freaks out about them in every way possible. He's more obsessed than my daughter. He has worn the same shirt for two days now and won't let me take off car shoes.
Do you think that they're born that way as boys and girls for their likes and dislikes? I never encouraged them and they seem to just gravitate towards gender themed stuff. Just wondering what other parents think of this.
I do buy their stuff for them so I guess on a level after they find interest I encourage it, but I do buy 90% stuff second hand.
