the profitablity is all hyped up and most of the of auctions on Ebay are won by fake bidders



Yeah daily shipments by air and one million units by the end of this year. There will be plenty to go around
 
once sony gets manufacturing 100% running, the store shelves will be stocked. The flippers will not make any money later on so the best sell them now instead of waiting until christmas. It pretty how people would spend 10x what its worth to be the first one in their neighborhood to get one.

Look at the xbox360. 2-3 weeks later the shelves were stocked with them
 
Very true. I dont really remeber seen the 360 been sold out in alot of areas. After they released it like you said 2-3 weeks later you can get one off the sheves.

Ill just keep my money in my pocket till i can get a ps3 in a few weeks or months. No hurry. I see this as just a huge HYPE.
 
are you high? store shelves won't be "stocked" until well after the holidays. and you couldn't just walk into any store and get a 360 until feb

I could have walked into 5 different stores, all within 30 minutes of me after the 360 launched and they all had them in stock. I didnt buy one, but if I wanted to, i could have.
 
just realized you're from north carolina. i guess those crazy newfangled video game players are too highbrow for you folks cause in both Phoenix and Austin that shit was near impossible to find until spring.

and i still don't believe you cause all the way up till christmas 360s were going for close to $1k on ebay so someone would have just bought them and sold em on ebay, sure you're not thinking of the original xbox?
 
funny cause i was at bestbuy few day before ps3 release i see people leaving xbox360 laying around in shoping carts. and no one bother to glance at it. now the question is when is the next ps3 shipment and is it every week? and how many ps3 going to per store etc. i don't want to wait months
 
i meant the feb after the 360 launch, of course you can easily grab one now. i'm willing to bet the ps3 shipments will be very sporadic and even big box retailers will only get one or two in a shipment. there is talk of best buy hording all theirs for a re release some time in mid december though
 
Ill support him. Here in Connecticut there were plenty to go around after about 2-3 weeks. Then they resold out during christmas. But if you looked hard plenty of the ghetto stores, casinos and rural areas had plenty. We never truley ran out, they were hidden. At the Mohegan Sun casino, Spin Street, A REAL LICENSED STORE, was selling them for $1000...

Also ofcourse a major city like Pheonix would be sold out...
