This past month my period was 5 days late. I am having weekly doctor appointments for something else, and when it was just 3 days late the doctor wanted to go ahead and do a pregnancy test, which came back negative.
Two days later, I got my period. But it was really light and lasted for only 2 days.
Other than cramping, which I had about 4 or 5 days before my period started, and cramping which is still going on 4 or 5 days later, and nausea for the past 2 days (actually, it's the same queasiness I had with my first pregnancy, but I'm a queasy person), I feel pretty much normal.
So at my appointment today when I told my Dr. about the short period and that it was 5 days late, she said she wanted to do another pregnancy test before I left, but we both got distracted and forgot.
I don't think I am pregnant. We used condoms, but my doctor told me that she has a wonderful son who was the result of using condoms!
In my opinion, even though it was short and light, it was still a period, but I'd like to hear other (nice) opinions and experiences.
Thanks!
