By 2050, white americans will no longer be the majority over minorites. Now like the 1960s, we are facing a point in history. Democrats fought for civil rights and african americans became extremely loyal for that. Now because Most African Americans live in the south, they dont make a big difference in the electoral college BUT hispanics are different. In the states with even a small hispanic populations, those states are either very close are heavily democrat during the election year. Over the next couple of decades, hispanics are going to become more and more of a huge impact. Now my question is, what side of history will republicans be on in the minds of Hispanics?
Martin Luther King was a republican, you're right. Just goes to show you how things can change. MANY african americans were republicans UNTIL the democratic party decided to actually help them in their cause. Funny what can be done when people think of their fellow man and fellow Americans.
And no, hispanics do not lean republican. They lean democrat. And you guys do realize that illigal aliens are not allowed to vote right?

Are you Nostradamus? Can you see into the future?

As for your question, Republicans should not be courting Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, Jews, Gays, Whites, Muslims, or any other subgroup. What Republicans need to do is figure out what they stand for, which traditionally has been lower taxes and smaller government.

People or peoples who go out pandering to groups are not respected. Republicans need to speak with clarity on the solid principles they believe in, and then walk the walk when the time comes. Fair minded people, regardless of race, creed, or any other denominator will respect that.

So if your skin is brown you think differently than the rest of the country that is descendant from immigrants? What is wrong with laws to protect citizens and borders?
