Don't know if its Asthma

I've always had some kind of problem with my lungs. Usually it doesn't bother me but every few years(like when I run in cold air I wheeze and get short of breath). There was a time about 6 years ago when I lived in a apartment that had a black mold disclosure in the lease where I thought that I was going to have to go to the ER (wheezing, tightness in chest, and was getting too tired to take a breath).

I went to the doctor yesterday, and even though my chest felt tight, found that my lungs were clear and he couldn't find any other problem.

Has anyone ever had that happen before? I'm trying not to think that I've gone crazy.
 
The proper way to determine asthma is to see a pulmonoligist for evaluation and testing. It may be that you have exercise induced asthma or allergy induced asthma.
