Don't Give Up On Vista

You know, I'd never thought about it that way.
you're right, sorry for my well thought out point lol.

i see you have no problems with vista and that's fine, I hope it has implemented some nice features that was lacking in the past. I just like a well designed OS like UNIX... a personal preference.

I've never liked windows and vista is no exception. so IMO UNIX or a UNIX based system is a much better option than windows, but that's just me.

Good post.

What a lovely conversation i've bumped in to here....

(sarcasm count 3/10)

I am hoping to upgrade to Vista in about a year when I am forced to by some software I really like. It normally takes a while for new Windows releases to settle down and become stable(ish).

I've had no problems* with vista, like. My m-audio soundcard didn't officially wurk with vista at first but the XP drivers for it worked fine.

*that weren't easily solved

Last evening, Vista told me to go have a nosh and a cuppa while it repaired itself.

Took about 45 minutes, and no secrets told, just flaky behavior fixed.

I could get used to that. :whistling
