in my county there is a saying that says " we blame the life while it's our fault" .

TRUST me life is pretty fucked up itself .. like .. i live in a fucked place where there is No bars No Cinema theaters Not even girl friends !! i know u might think what institution I'm in .. well it's called the institution of Saudi Arabia K.S.A the life is So fucked up here even girls can't drive cars . thank god the Chats aren't Blocked .. do you realise that if i wanted a girl friend i have try and meet her there and if I'm lucky i can call her and Date with her after a while of I.Ming !! and if you very lucky and i mean very lucky u meet a divorced girls so u can pang her !! coz .. here .. a girl is a virgin till she is married .. if not she maybe killed !! well it depends on on her family or her husband !!

Even here most girls are virgins till they're married. Having sex before marriage is regarded as betraying your future husband. Some people have girlfriends, yeah, but don't let your parents find out because they'll think that she'll have a drastic impact on your education. But it's nothing like your place. They won't kill you for anyone of these and you have bars but only in the cities. What kink of a place doesn't have a movie theatre?

I've always thought that some of the best stories and legends were written by people in the Mideast countries, and you've explained nicely why that might be so. With minimal external entertainment, one is challenged to visit the world of the imagination.

The stories of Gilgamesh, Scheherazade, Sinbad, Ali Baba, Aladdin's Lamp, etc. have been the basis of so many contemporary tales. I would much rather read (or reread) one of those than go to see just about any of the current movies.

But, that's the difference, I guess. For me, it's a choice. For you, the choices are not as varied, so it seems restrictive. Hang in there, though. Things change.
