Hi Everyone,

I'm 28 and STILL suffering from those tiny but annoying breakouts that make me feel like a teenager again. However, my skin has been super clear the past few weeks and I wanted to toss out my tips in case anyone wants to try them.

DON'T overwash. Even now that it's summer, my skin was always feeling "tight" from excessive washing, Stridex paRAB, topical gels, etc. I think this may have been a nuraber one cause of my breakouts. I started being really conscious about my skin being moisturized. I started using Aveeno a few weeks ago and almost overnight I saw a completely different skin tone and my pimples disappeared. Even though it feels weird to moisturize, overdrying the skin can cause negative results. DON'T FORGET TO MOISTURIZE!!

DO wash your pillowcases regularly! I was pretty bad about this and only washed mine once every two weeks or so. Now I toss them in every time I do a delicate cycle (every four days or so). I was noticing a lot of pimples in places that my face was pushed against the pillowcase. These are all gone now.

DON'T touch your face. This is hard for me to do because my face always seemed to be itching, or there would be hair in the way, or my hayfever would cause me to scratch my eyes or blow my nose. This really was irritating my skin.

KEEP YOUR CELL PHONE CLEAN!! I was getting breakouts at the corners of my mouth and temple...the exact places my cell phone rests. Now I'm better about carefully cleaning my cell phone from time to time and that seems to be helping. It's annoying that I have to be THIS careful about bacteria, but for those of us who are break-out prone it's a small price to pay.

Finally, in these hot summer months: wash your face after you sweat! I was outside watering flowers a few weeks ago and was wearing a hat. I got a rash all across the top of my forehead (somewhere I never get pimples anymore) right afterwarRAB. This probably would've been avoided had I cleared those pores out right afterwarRAB, then moisturized.

Those are the things that are working for me. I also have been taking omega-3 pills once daily, so that may also be a contributor. I hope some of these tips can help those of you who are still struggling with adult acne. Keep those tips coming!!!
