So, I have a garage sale coming up, and I figured since the weather will be warm, that I would make water bottles available and have all the proceeds go to the animal shelter of which I volunteer at. I bought a pack of 24 today for $4.00. If I just wanted to recoup the cost, I would charge about 17 cents a bottle, but I’m looking for more than just recouping the cost, or I wouldn’t really bother. A bottle of this size would normally go for 0.75 – 1.00 at retail or in machines, but this is a garage sale after all. I’m thinking 25 cents, and then if I make it clear that I will be donating all the proceeds, people may feel generous to give a little more. What do you think?
