Hi

Iwas just wondering who has seen this film, and what they think of the meaning of the film?

Can you see the meaning of the film, having watched it? is it clear? Are you unsure?

Thanks

well it was meant to be the telling of the story of Domino Harvey but a this was made in hollywood the actual story has been hyped up a bit and they got someone to play Domino who looked nothing like her.

I don't think there was any point to the story at all. It's just a bit of escapism for 2 hours while the film is on loosely based on the life of a real person

lol thanks, that's what I thought..

Basically, I was considering studying this film for an essay, analysing cinematic codes (lighting, editing, sound, cinematography, and mise-en-scene) in the film, and how they function to create meaning, because it is a visually stunning film, but I don't know whether it is worth doing, though it is amazing, if I can't find a meaning behind it.

What do you guys think?

Domino is one of the worst films of all time

the awful Keira Knightley was the wrong person for the role, one of the worst performances ever given in a film

it was an awful empty pop video of a movie

how many times did she bloody say

50/50 chance heaRAB you live, tails you die

terrible movie

the scene that made me laugh is when they break into this house and everyone has their guns pointed at her and her frienRAB and they are outnumbered. She gets out of this by saying she will do a lapdance with her clothes on :eek::eek:

I think the ones pointing their guns at her could have got her to do something far more revealing than that
