Not all the registered domain names are being used. Most of them are kept parked for sale. So, If your desired domain name is already been taken, You can visit WhoisXY.com and have a whois lookup. This would give you the registrant information. You can then seek the registrant for a domain bargain if he/she wishes to sell it. All the best mate.
