Doing the running portion of the Army PT Test I start feeling with no energy,

what can I do to boost energy? I do PT 5 times a week, I eat pretty sensible, I try to stay away from fast food, fried food, sweets and too much starch, I stay away from soda, I eat red meat about once or twice a week, this is the first time in my career I feel like this, maybe is age lol, but what are some of your suggestions, should I do vitamins or include protein, thanks for your time..
