Im not exactly sure,
we used to do something called stop and start running,
for example, sprint then stop or jog and then sprint again.
(similar to bleep test)
Try that along with the jog, atleast then your getting more of a balance.
Then do the bleep test every once in a while, to see your progress.
We used to also have 3 small benches in a row, you'd run and jump the bench's then turn, then same again, for like 3 miutes straight
(similar aswell).
Then after that we'd move onto something else like hanging from a bar with the legs raised in the air and see how long you can hold it
(it's not easy trust me).
But yeah it's good to get a balance of training.
