Doing a dance that involves fire... any help?

For our Field Day at school (grades compete against each other in different field events), one of the events is a talent show and we have choreographed a dance to Cascada's "Pyromania" which you can listen to here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsdXPPp8dNk

Naturally, we want to incorporate fire and I thought we should set someone's feet on fire as they do a handstand at the "It's getting hot, hot, and I'm burning up" part. We've got an OK from the administration that we can use fire, but we must do it in a safe way... can anyone provide a safe way to do this, including how to actually set the shoes on fire in a safe and swift way? What shoes should we use that can easily catch on fire and that can keep our feet safe from the fire? I figured after the handstand the person could land in a bucket of cold water to get rid of the fire and then finish the dance. Do you think we could pull this off if we can find away to keep our feet fire-free or is it just better to do without the fire? I think it would be amazing if we could do the fire, but it's so complicated! Thanks so much for any answers.
