Our two male, neutered dogs, cooper and remy, have been fighting lately. We do have unspayed females, and ever since the last one was in heat, they have been getting aggressive to the point where they get ahold of each other and will not let go. Cooper always initiates the fights, but Remy is usually all for the fighting. We cage Remy when we are gone now, and keep them seperate when we're around, but it's just so stressful. Today Cooper broke Remy's cage down and they got into a huge fight. I'm worried that he will do that when we are not home, and one or both will end up dead. Any suggestions on how to stop this. We talked to our vet, and he said to keep them away, but that doesn't seem to be helping things. Help?
