Last night my dog caught a foxtail in her eye. At first she just had it closed shut and we couldnt tell what was wrong but after opening it up we caught a glimpse of the foxtail and took it out. Its been 24hrs now and her eye is red and teary and not wide open. My mom said it would clear up on its own but I think we should take her to the vet. Any ideas on how I could convince her to take her? Or could it really heal on its own? Thanks.
