sorry, this was in addition to another question, when i download a file, such as a music album in a .zip file it does not open a folder when i double click, it tries to play the file as if it were a single song, which it is not. how do i decompress the file so that it can be the whole album, as it is meant to be. i used to be able to double click on the compressed .zip file and it would open like a folder and i could just drag the songs to my ipod but not it just goes to media player as i have mentioned..
 
what doesnt work for u???
mayb u r talking bout a .DAT file....it may not be meant to be played by a media player...it is a system file eg NTUSER.DAT....it is not a video or audio file.


or r u talking bout any video file that u cannot play on media player.
get a codec or KM player.(best video player)
