Does your weight and gender have anything to do with how much sleep you should be

getting? I was just wondering if the amount of sleep you're suppose to get has anything to do with your weight or gender. I know that teens need 8 - 9 1/2 hours of sleep every night and 12 year olds are suppose to get 11-12 or something, but i was just wondering if that amount of time would be different for people who are completely different weights and genders. For example, should a 200 pound, 16 year old male be getting the same amount of sleep as a 100 pound, 16 year old female? Or should one be getting more rest than the other?
