Does your hair hit your partner when you dance Salsa?

I have been taking classes for the past month and Im loving it!!!!

I had one question... I have long hair.. till mid back and I have noticed that when I do sharp spins, my hair flips a lot,,...

it probably hits the guy in the face right???

so when you go out dancing you cant wear your hair down? I like to have big curly hair when Im going out
