Does Vista play well with others? ie. XP

Im considering buying a Vista computer, but I have multiple other computers all running XP and I want to still be able to share files and printers and the like. Will Vista play nice?

Sharing files and printers works fine as well as remote desktop.

If you want to share between XP and vista, you could possibly need to install LLTDR thing that vista uses on the XP machine.

on a personal pc i havent had near the issues with vista as I have on my network. Vista doesnt like to play with 2k3 server and active directory as well as it should.
