Does viewing violence in the media cause most violence in people?

Testosterone is more significant as a cause, but media violence helps. Actually, I don't think it's the media violence as much as the linking of violence with heroism -- that is, the mythology of the hero as a person who uses violence for good -- Rambo, Dirty Harry, etc. This gives permission for violence.
 
Numerous governmental studies have been addressing this question for over 50 years. The end result is taht there is no causal relationship between viewing violence and engaging in violent behavior.

It has to be environmental
