Hi? I use my iPhone with AT&T without data plan, and I love not having to pay 30 bucks like most people do. Now the question is can I safely update my iPhone OS via iTunes without messing up the activation. If it does erase the activation, then that means I will have to add data plan again then have it removed again, which I do not want to do. Do not say that I can't use my iPhone without data plan or that it's illegal or whatever because I can, and nobody can force me to pay for something I don't want. Only answers from people who know what they're talking about wanted.
Does updating iPhone erase activation?
