Does toyota use the 6 sigma concept?

Is it true that toyota does not use 6 sigma? But why do they not want to use it?
I mean in addition to the Toyota Production System, what other concepts like 6 sigma does Toyota use?
 
TPS is a coverall for everything they use. They are some of the best practitioners around in 6sigma- but may be guilty of being dogmatic about it. LEAN is another set of tools they use - reducing MUDA from processes. LEan is a business transforming process - especially if used via WORKOUT principles.

and they use lean manufacturing. I would guess like everyone else that uses lean manufacturing is they're trying to save space :) Personally lean manufacturing pissed me off to no end, i hated making one part one week then next week make the same part again when i could have made two parts savings time by 40%.
