does TMOBILE charge if you took your phone number to go AT&T?

i am a tmobile customer but i would like to go to AT&T because i want the iphone 4. if i switched to at&t using my tmobile number.. will tmobile charge me for that??

or can i actually get an iphone 4 and use with my tmobile plan?? please let me know what i can do thanks!
