I'm thinking about writing a short story. It's set in the future, after a world order collapse. The elite have created a "safe zone", with a few large cities and the surrounding small towns within a protected wall surrounding the country (like the wall of china). Outside of the wall, there is little to no government rules and laws, and people live on individual family farms and fight alot. The story starts in a large orphanage in small town in the safe zone. One day, a group of people from the group 2 (outside the wall) are flying a small plane, miscalculate, and crash land near the small town. They find one of the characters (a teen boy) and kidnap him. They bring him back to their area(outside the wall). The rest of the group of 5 kids/teens go on an adventure to save him, leaving the safely and security of the protected area to go into the ungoverned dangerous countryside to save him. They must learn to survive outside of the high tech society that was inside the wall, and face any challenges and obstacles they must overcome.
Does it sound interesting?
