Does this sound okay to eat?

I want to lose weight, is this okay to eat? I'm doing a diet where you eat >1000 calories for, lets say, 2 days, then you eat a bit some, say 1200 calories. I'm on a 1200 day! Okay, anyway...

Brown bread
Grilled sausage and white pudding, GRILLED, btw, not fried
Butter and brown sauce!

This will be my dinner. >.< thanking you!

I'll assume you want an honest answer. So, no. That diet does NOT sound OK. The caloric intake is dreadfully low....malnutrition and muscle loss is guaranteed. Also the choices of food could be a million times better. If you are going to starve yourself you have to at least make sure that the food that you DO eat is nutritionally dense. Your food choices could be so much better. Caloric restriction is NOT going to get you where you want to be. It is just damaging your body and will NOT result in permanent fat loss.....not in a million years.

1000 is too little, 1200 is about right for a diet. Sausage is high in fat and carbs, grill up some chicken breast or fish instead. Butter is also high in fat, don't eat that. Whole wheat bread is fine as long as you don't have too much and it is better to not eat carbs too late at night, so don't have dinner too late.

I'm not so sure about the sausage. Sausages are very processed foods. This means they have lots of salt nearly no vitamins or minerals. Try to avoid processed foods if you can.

As for the butter, I hope it is just a samll quantity. Fat is good in moderation. If you have margarine, that'd be way better.

Also, try to include some fruits and vegetables. How about a small green salad?

Hope this helps and best of luck!
