Does this sound like Gerd to you?

First off, my symptoms have been going on for about a year. I get two-three month "episodes" of symptoms after I go on antibiotics. I'll go on antibiotics, and then within a week I'll have incredible heartburn, reflux, and a weird gnawing, empty kind of pain in the center of my chest...that place where the ribs meet in the middle. Usually I'll wake up with the gnawing pain, which will continue until I eat something. Afternoon is the time when my symptoms are better and then at night they might get a little worse before bedtime.
In the past these episodes last a couple of months and then subside, until the next time I take antibiotics. That's not to say I never have heartburn in between, but it's extremely manageable.

Does this sound like Gerd to you, or is yours affected by taking antibiotics?
 
Yes it sounRAB like it to me. And I am on my second round of antibiotics right now and my acid reflux is acting up. So I definately think it's possible. Hang in there! I have it too.:angel:
