Clean the hooves. Use the Hoof Pick to clean the hooves. Use the Hoof Brush to Brush the hooves. Then using Hoof oil apply dressing to the sole, heel and wall of the foot. I will only put on hoof oil occasionally like before shows and in the summer when he gets lots of baths (because giving a lot of baths can dry out the hooves)!
Remove dirt and sweat marks. Use the dandy brush to make short flicking movements all over the body and down the legs clean the Dandy Brush with the Plastic Curry Comb. I KNOW NOT TO USE THE PLASTIC CURRY COMB ON THE HORSE! THE PASTIC CURRY COMB IS ONLY TO BE USED TO CLEAN OFF THE BODY BRUSH!
Remove any grease or dirt. Use the Body Brush and Metal Curry Comb then begin to brush in firm flicking motions all over the body and legs. Clean off the Body Brush with the Metal Curry Comb. I KNOW NOT TO USE THE METAL CURRY COMB ON THE HORSE! THE METAL CURRY COMB IS ONLY TO BE USED TO CLEAN OFF THE BODY BRUSH!
Lay the tail. Use the water brush to dampen the tail. Then use the Tail Bandage and wrap it around the tail. Leave it on until the grooming process is finished.
Sponge the eyes, nostrils, and the dock. Dampen a Clean Sponge and wipe around the eyes and nostrils. Then using a different Clean Sponge wipe around the dock.
Comb the mane. Comb the mane to the right side and pull any straggly hairs. Then back Comb the mane in order to lift dander from the roots.
Pick the mane and tail. Spray coat sheen in the mane and tail daily and pick it free of tangles and debris.
A final polish. Dampen a Tea Towel and wipe over the entire body of the horse.
Groom the head. Take the Halter off use only the Face Brush to groom the horse’s head with the face brush.
Anything I should add? Thank you in advance! Blessings
