does this poem suck or not?

its my first like ever (feel free to twick it)

its still silent depressingly dark
as you hide u run ur hands against some bark
ur heart thumps like massive footsteps
think of memorys ur heart has keeps
run jump trip your out of breath
your coming way to close to death
get back up and continue to sprint
the sky now has a purplish tint
why wont anyone help
something hits you and u yelp
tears begin to fill your eyes
the sun starts to slowly rise
sky fills with a blushing red
you wish u where dead
but in the distance something gleams
you open your eyes it was just a dream
