Why and how do pileups like this take place when there are no fumbles or short yardage gains? Jaime Foxx stated in the commentary that when they did the "pile on" they laid a guy on top of him who weighed 195, then another who weighed 260, then another who weighed 300 and then 325...he said they were all on top of him because a dude "collapsed" what does he mean by collapse? In just exactly what is a pile on? is it intentional or accidental? From the tone of the music and the coach's reaction im assuming situation like this must be serious because there are four refs surrounding the pile (which i thought only took place in fumbles) and penalty flags, but I don't understand why the coach is the only one who seems to panic while everyone else (including the cheerleaders) cheer on. I know its a movie, but im curious to know what the director was trying to portray
