hey!!
okay. i've known a guy from college for over a year. we used to have class together but we had totally different friendship groups.
this year i was working in the library and he came over to talk to me. we spoke for an hour. he asked for my number so he could text me details about a boxing class the next night.
he called me the next night and i went. ive been going for 5 weeks now.
during that time i also invited him out to dinner for my bday. he came even though he didnt know anyone. he stole a jug from the resturant for me because i said it was pretty (as a joke)
we started speaking more after the gym every week. last week i couldnt get home so he offered to give me a lift home when i said i couldnt make it.
no one else was home so i offered for him to come in. he did and we talked. he left and we gave each other a long hug
he text me that night to say 'goodnight' and to tell me not to stress. (i was getting really anxious)
he text me the next day to see how a meeting went.
i text him a few days later to say another meeting went well. when i mentioned celebratory drinks this week (he said we should get drinks) he replied 'you dont drink silly'. (among other things)
this week i was trying to organize a placement get together with two other guys and this guy from the gym.
i text him yesterday to see if he was coming today. he said he had a few things on but he'd try.
i joked 'pleassse come' you're like VIP. dont stress let me know if you can make it. have a good night'
day he sends a brief text saying how he cant make it.
i reply 'thats totally fine! i got a fab report in my last meeting. have a good night! illl hopefully cya rounnnnd soon'
he REPLIED INSTANTLY saying 'told you you'd do great'
i havent replied. i dont know what he wants....but its confusing me. he has also started calling me 'mate' occasionally.
is he testing me?
