Personally, I didn't put much effort in counting days clean. I had one relapse of three days in mid-February and I consider that as my real detox date. How many days? I don't know. For me, each day is a new day to stay clean and when I go to bed at night, I count
one. Like I said, this works for me and my not work for everyone. Yesterday I was one day clean, today I am one day clean (yes, folks, even with my neck injury I'm pain pill free the last two days).
So, you have to ask yourself, did I really drink it for the content (you need to start counting over), or did I drink it because it taste good (well... continue counting with an asterisk footnote)? That will be your answer. The next time you are offered a good tasting drink, will you take it or will you pass? Sorry to be so evasive, but I think you know the answer to your question. Actually, both answers are right so long as today you can count
one.
