Where do I stand regarding Human Rights Laws in the UK on keeping a dog in a flat?
We have been told we cannot keep our dog because we live in a flat with a lift. However others in the same building are being allowed to keep their pet dogs if they moved into their accommodation before this new ruling was brought in by the local Council (Glasgow City Council).
Why does the Council have the right to discriminate between 2 diferent families living in identical properties.
Is this discrimination under the European Human Rights Laws, i.e Article 14 The Right to Receive Equal Treatment and Article 8 The Right to Respect for Private and Family Life.
Can anyone help?
