It's like every store in the mall has "go green" "save your planet" "green is the new black" and i dont even think that half of them have paper bags. They dont even know what green means. They just want to make money! (&& same wiht the peace sign and zebra stripes but that isnt a cause so it doesnt bother me as much.)

Yes it bothers me because they say to go green but then they aren't even doing it

yes. And no. It's hardly the first time people have signed up for something without understanding it. But, now, at least, their tuned into the words and will pay attention when others help define it for them. It'll take years for some of it to sink in.

yeah a lot of people think they're saving the environment by using stuff like recycles paper and plastic, and although this helps, it still is detrimental to our environment. we're just slowing down the effects of toxic chemicals and wastes, but we're not stopping them. all this pollution will become a problem soon.
