Does this annoy you ( concerning public speaking )?

I have noticed that many television newscasters and commentators commit the cardinal sin of interjecting "er, ah, ah, er " into their oral presentations. Am I being overly critical here, or do you also feel that this bad habit is unprofessional and rather annoying?
Glacier: We aren't being paid 6 digit salaries as professional speakers! I wouldn't excuse them that easily!!
