Now, I don't mind a bigger girl. Keep that in mind. But I disagree with this stereotype that black males love big women. This isn't the topic I wish to discuss, but I do need to reference this to explain my point. In the past Ive been in clubs or out on the town and every so often I get a bigger girl try to chat me up. Now Im talking obese. I have had these girls say things ranging from "do you like a girl with curves?" to straight up "Ive heard you black guys like thick women". I'm not offended by this, I do understand that alot of guys do like obese girls. They aren't what I usually go for, but I don't discriminate. Some of them nice girls.
But the question I want to ask here is, is the word 'curves' thrown around too much? I was always lead to believe that curves referred to a slim hourglass figure, not straight up fat or obese. The same goes with the word thick. I have brothas telling me bout this "thick girl" they talking about bit plump or a bit bigger than average and toned, not shapeless, you know? I don't want to offend anyone, like I say, I don't mind about a girl's size, but are these girls who claim to be thick or have curves just kidding themselves?
