Does the Samsung PN50C550 play video files via USB?

I was considering buying the Samsung PN50B650 and one of the coolest feature I was excited about was its ability to play video files (like .mkv files) via USB port.

Now the B650 is discontinued and Samsung is offering the PN50C550 Plasma TV. Does this TV have the ability to play video files via USB as well or do I have to wait until the PN50C650 comes out? (if there ever is such a beast).
