I received a speeding ticket for 83 in a 70 mph zone. I know for a fact that my cruise control was on 77. Yes I know I was speeding but the fine is lower. The officer said he clocked me at 86 but was going to be lenient and only give me ticket for 83. I am going to court to explain this to the judge and would like to see of there has been any previous similar complaints against this officer.
Also, is there any type of time stamp or confirmation on a radar gun that marks the speed and time I was clocked at? I am going to tell the judge I was speeding but not going that fast. Thanks for the help.
