Does the PSP 3000 4g suffer from scan line issues as well?

I've seen various people referencing a PSP 3000 "4g". I did a bit of research and I've discovered that there are two types of PSP 3000s: "3g" and "4g". I bought my 3k right when it came out (silver), and the scan lines are pretty noticeable.

My question is this: Are the scan lines still present with the PSP 3000 "4g"s?
