Probably @vijay is an idiot.

No, there are no such thing as compatible OSs. Windows app cannot run on Linux, Linux application cannot run on OS X and ... Symbian applications do not run on Linux (and Maemo is Linux). The only possible solution is to have an emulator that will run the application in a virtual machine and no, there is no such emulator for Symbian.
