Does the new itunes allow for music sharing with friends?

The old itunes used to allow for sharing with other people. I'm pretty sure it could authorize up to 5 accounts. I used to be able to set my ipod to manually manage at my home computer and then I could plug it into anybody elses computer and drag their music onto my ipod. I plugged my phone in to my boyfriends computer and I can't do the same thing anymore. When I go to drag music my device doesn't show up on his itunes... is there a specific setting i need to click or something? Heeeeelp
