I already posted this question but my husband asked me to post it again so... My husband is currently deployed to Iraq and a few days ago he fell asleep in the guard tower and got caught. (I agree it wasn't smart so no need to trash talk) but now they are trying to take his stuff away. (his laptop his tv and his xbox 360) I understand that he messed up but they have him doing two guard shifts a day and in the few hours he isn't working he has to cram in eating, sleeping, and talking me. Can somebody please show me some real evidence that they are allowed to do this? How can they take away a soldiers only comforts from home while he is 6000 miles away? If somebody could please show me in the UCMJ where it says they can do this I would be very grateful. Thank you very much.
oh btw i dont need smartass answers from people with no military experience. Lets ship you to another country, 6000 miles away from your wife and toddler and take your crap away and see how you like it.
unless any of you have been there you have no idea how stressful it is on these soldiers. "Lets take away his things, and when the stress becomes too much because he has nothing to keep his mind off being away from his family for a year and he his eating the muzzle of his M4 we will just lie so that nobody knows he were at fault what so ever"
