Does the McCain / Palin camp really think they can pull it off?

Forget some election 50 or 60 years ago when polling methods were not as advanced as now.

The polls are showing a possible landslide for democrats - they have been consistent for weeks now.

They know it, the democrats know it and we know it. Why is their propaganda still saying they 'are gonna win'? People might hope they will - but now no one actually believes it anymore - Do they??

shut-up no one will know until tuesday so stop being a bigmouthed liberal and wait it out like everyone else

All the evidence seems to indicate that they are behind. The way that some notable Republicans are distancing themselves is another tell tale sign that things could be better for the McCain/Palin campaign

However, what other choice do they have other than to remain optimistic and up beat? It would be foolish and constitutionally harmful to give up before polling day is arrives.

If they gave up then that would be a very bad thing for democracy. Especially since there is very little independent contention for the presidency this time around.

well what do you want them to say....that they won't win on tuesday and just tell the republicans to sit out

McCain has a long shot chance to win.

Obama can't win without Pennsylvania. McCain has been pushing and the race is tightening there.

Florida is a corrupt backwater and any Democrat that trust what goes there is a fool.

Oama has maintained small leads in Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina but it would be naive for the Obama campaign to rely on any of them.

Obama has strength in Virginia - and - Senate Candidate Mark Warner has huge lead which should provdie coatails for Obama. Obama has maintained a solid lead in VA but the Commonwealth has a GOP presidential tradition and it will be interesting to see if Obama strength can overcome that tradition.

If Obama is not able to carry any of theses states, McCain will win the election.

PA = 21 electoral votes
OH = 20 electoral votes
VA = 13 electoral votes
NC = 15 electoral votes
FL = 27 electoral votes

If McCain can pull off a Miracle in PA, and he can flip VA, it could be a long nite for Obama..

Obama doesn't need Ohio, North Carolina or Florida to win. But with out Pennsylvania and Virginia, He is in trouble.

The good news for Obama is that McCAin will need to run the table in these 5 states to win..... And THAT is the longest of long shots.

Obama is really tying to make the conservatives stay at home on election day, Not only on TV, but here on this site, talking trash
The only way I can prove you wrong is to elect this guy and both of us can watch the country go down the tubes
