Does the Mazda RX-8 R3 have the same engine as the RX-7 FD?

Is the RX-8 R3 being made with the same engine as the RX-7 FD? (Rotary)

If they aren't the same...Which of them is better? Tell me the HP and Torque for each of them if possible.
